Be One!

Hello Everyone.

This week was a super good week. Yesterday The Referral Center got to watch the "Be One" broadcast in the conference room just like we do for General Conference. It was so amazing and so inspirational. It was about when the revelation when everyone was finally able to have the priesthood in 1978. The stories about the people of African descent who kept their faith despite their inability to receive the priesthood or do other ordinances. I have taught people from Nigeria, Ghana, and other places all around Africa. Each time I teach the people there the faith they have never ceases to amaze me. As I watched this broadcast it just gave me a greater love and respect for them. I truly believe that God loves each and every one of His children no matter what they look like or what they have done.

Bridal Veil Falls

I know that God will always be there for us especially when no one else is. God made us a plan so that we can be happy, and sometimes happiness does not mean the absence of a trial. I know that as we are obedient we will be blessed and we will find the joy spoken about in the scriptures. Jesus Christ truly suffered for our sins, our afflictions, and our weaknesses so that He could understand us perfectly, which He does. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Arching trees

Elder Knudsen and I received a big surprise this week. Victoria's missionaries had something pop up on the eleventh so they are unable to do the baptism then. So her baptismal date got moved to the seventh of June! Everyone is so excited, but I don't think that anyone is more excited than Victoria is.

Today we went to Bridal Veil falls and it was absolutely beautiful. I have not seen somewhere with so much green in a long time. We went on a walk down a beautiful trail that had trees on both sides of us so it just looked amazing. Elder Curtis, Elder Knudsen, Elder Nelson, and I also found a very cool rock that had a doe on it.

Those are the highlights of my week. I hope that all of you had a fantastic week as well. I also hope that everyone had a wonderful memorial day. I love you.

Love,

Elder Stevenson
