Go Ye Into All the World
Dear Family,
This week was good. We talked with Keidi this week over Facebook video. It was good, we were able to remind her of the things that she loved about the church. Elder Savoie and I got to hear her say the closing prayer in Estonian, which was awesome. She messaged us today and told us she was going to a YSA event in Tartu (Estonia) today, so I am super excited that she is doing things with the church again.
Another huge highlight was that we met a girl on chat named Matylda. She lives in Poland. Because she is only sixteen we needed permission from her parents to teach her. It took a few days but we finally found a day where Ellis (Polish speaker at the M.T.C.) could speak to Matylda's Mom, because she only speaks Polish. But Matylda's mom said we could teach her, which I am totally excited about. Our first meeting is on Tuesday.
I got to see my first Baptism this morning. Michael from England got baptized and Elder Savoie, Elder Zaugg, Elder Johnson, and I got to Skype in and watch it happen. I was so happy for him. We've been talking to Ana who is a recent convert in El Salvador. She says she wants to go on a mission. I am so happy for her.
Also Conference was awesome. I did feel like Elder Bednar was talking to me when he did his talk about how we are called to serve, and are assigned to a place.
I got up at three Monday morning to see Elder Wilkins get taken home which totally threw of my schedule. Anyway I got to go into the outside world this week. Elder Savoie and I got to walk over to the BYU Health Center and pick up some eye drops, because my eyes are overly red and we didn't know why. Doctor Brown prescribed me eye drops. Anyway, that's it for this week, thank you for all your letters.
Con Amor,
Elder Stevenson
