Hello My Dear Family,
This week was another busy but interesting week. I would first like to share a scripture with you. This is 2 Nephi 25:26.
26 And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.
I believe that this is a very powerful verse. It also talks basically about what missionary work is. Missionaries go out and talk of Christ, they rejoice in Christ, and they preach of Christ. I know that as we look to Jesus Christ we will find strength and joy. Jesus Christ has truly changed my life and I know that He will continue to do so as I look to Him. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
There is also a funny story that goes with this scripture. Every week we choose a scripture to try and memorize. for the past two weeks we have chosen this scripture to try and memorize, however our schedules have been so full that we don't have time to memorize it so it always goes as a goal for the next week. The sad thing is that this week we are starting our plan to hand off our people to the missionaries in Denver, Temple Square, and Salt Lake City South Missions. So we will probably be more busy than we have been. But I will definitely memorize it.
The people we are teaching and which mission we are passing them off to
Something else that we have started doing is making a list of referrals for the Denver North Mission. So how they want it to work is we will give the referrals to the online Assistant to the President and they will hand out the referrals to the online missionaries in the online teaching center there. So what we were doing before was sending pictures of the people that wanted bibles or wanted to talk about Jesus Christ, but the online Assistant to the President has asked us to go to each person's profile, type their name and put the link to their Facebook and send it their way. Elder Woodruff, Elder Arndt and I have all made multiple posts on Facebook asking if anyone wants a bible or if anyone wants to talk about Jesus Christ. Both Elder Woodruff and I have one post out of the few that we made that has over 700 and something comments and likes. So Denver is going to get probably around 2000 referrals pretty soon. So it will be a busy week. For Salt Lake City South we will just be giving the people we are teaching to Elder West directly as well we will do that for Sister Oakley, Sister Van Dam, and Sister Larsen at Temple Square.
I thought just for fun I will tell you what we are doing with the 120 or so people in our teaching pool. We are going to teach a lesson along with the missionary companionship that we will be handing the people we are teaching off to. Once the lesson is complete we will hand off the person to them.

Church was good on Sunday though. It was fast Sunday so we went to the employee ward. Elder Woodruff and I gave talks there which was super awesome. If I could give my talk a name I would call it Jesus's guiding hand. I talked about the joy we can find in following Jesus Christ and how if we follow Jesus Christ He will guide us where we need to go. On Tuesday I then did the lesson for Zone meeting. I made it all about gratitude. It was really good.
We had some really good lessons this week. One of these lessons was with Vandana. We have been trying to set up something with her for two weeks because she got a job and we have been trying to find something that matches our busy schedule and her busy schedule. So when we first called her she said "wow it feels like we haven't talked in a month or in a year," but it was really good. She taught us the majority of The Plan of Salvation. I always learn something new when she teaches us.

We have been talking with someone named Teewah and she is from Nigeria. She got a baptism date and it is for the seventeenth of this month. So she will be baptized next week if all goes well. But she is super awesome. We talked with her about the plan of salvation and she seemed to understand it.
We talked with Juli again this week. She had a lot of questions about life and death which was interesting to us. So we answered her questions to the best of our ability. We also talked about the law of tithing which went well.
Christy has been busy lately with her new job at General Electric. But she still wants to go to church and is keeping our invitations. She loves the Book of Mormon and always tells us about her reading.
I hope that you all have a great upcoming week. I love you.
Love,
Elder Stevenson
