Hey family,
This week was so good and so spiritually uplifting. Sunday was a big day for me. I fasted for the first time since I started my new medication. It was such a cool experience. I trusted that if I fasted, then the lord would make it so that I would not get sick, and he did.
I am starting to enjoy my calling as the door greeter for sacrament meeting, along with Elder Graves of course. Then at Sunday devotional we heard from Sister and President Yost. They talked about how the lord is always there for us, even when we do not think he is.
After that we watched "Meet the Mormons 2". I was asked to pray in front of all the missionaries that were there. It was actually super spiritual.
On Tuesday we had a super spiritual lesson. we were taught how to sincerely pray. Everyone got in their own empty room and prayed. I was amazed how much I cried during my prayer. I prayed for Natalie, for my district, for the young men in my Teachers Quorum, for my teachers in the MTC, all by name, as well as the investigators that I have yet to meet. I also prayed for the ward and for our family. It was amazing because I felt God's infinite love for each individual.
That night I gave Elder Poritt a blessing and right as I put my hand on his head I sobbed because I felt God's love for him. It was an amazing experience. That night was the night that Elder Chojnacky left to go back home for his surgery. so now I am in a trio with Elder Graves and Elder Corbett. Elder Corbett is super awesome and super spiritual. It is awesome to be in a trio because now I get to have three perspectives when I look at an idea or a problem.
I love you and miss you.
Love,
Elder Stevenson
